Galaxies were only discovered after 1920! The astronomers thought that the fuzzy patches were just star clusters. Since then, they have discovered that there are many types of galaxies in various forms and at different ages. I think that universes are the same. There are many types of universes of different ages. Some are just forming and others are at the end of their existence, and others are similar to ours. They are so distant from us that our most powerful telescopes can not see them. I think someday we will. Occam's razor! The simplest explanation is always the correct one.

Absolutely! Thanks for sharing this. And yes - the universe is certainly infinitely complex, yet often our imaginations and instincts (and simple sense of logic) know what it takes a long time for science to prove.

Hey Eden.

Your post and question jumped out at me today…and it came to me to ask this question in a shamanic journey…(I post live audio recordings of shamanic journeys here on Substack)

it feels like a time of stillness between death and rebirth right now and your post was spirit guiding me to ask this question.

Would you enjoy hearing spirit's answer to this question?

Hey Eden.

Loving the magnetic ripple effect too.

I haven't done the shamanic journey yet. Now I will🥰

I record them live and post as audio here on Substack.

Will tag you in when I post. Will be within the next few days.

I too will love to hear spirits answer on this.

Eden—this was FANTASTIC. Your writing caused such a crystallization of so many swirling, chaotic pieces in my awareness lately.

I think you might be interested in the work Julian Gough is writing on Substack. Many resonances.

Anyways, so glad I ran into this piece. Thanks for writing it!

The best science we have is the Borde-Guth-Vilenkin theorem. This theorem builds on the Big Bang theory and proves there was an absolute beginning to TIME and SPACE about 14 billion years ago. If correct this rules out the Vedic cyclical universe which extends infinitely into the past. The BGV theorem says the universe (all matter, time and space) began from absolutely nothing a finite time ago. Even if there is a multiverse (for which there is no evidence), it is still subject to the BGV theorem.

Pagan creation myths begin with pre-existing matter in some form of water, an egg, a monster, semen, an ocean, storm clouds, etc.

Only the Judeo-Christian Genesis account begins with God speaking the universe into existence from absolute nothing. This fits seamlessly with Big Bang cosmology, however science didn't catch up to the Genesis account until the 20th century.

I loved this! Really wonder-inspiring images too. This is a slight tangent, but the mention of the universe beginning with a sound reminds me of one of my favourite movie scenes ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPDSf-Nik-U

“Desire first arose in It, which was the primal seed of mind.”

I have been wondering if DESIRE or love were first impetus.

But reading 📖 this seems even more likely:

“ Buddhism, meanwhile, postulates that the universe is cyclical and is recreated every moment. In this paradigm, nothing is independent, and there is no creator, and everything exists within everything else, eternally within each moment.”

.

All things are together in one place

Each thing is moved thru pattern.

SIGNALs give direction. 🔁

The whole divides in to parts. 🧬

The parts move around and in and out of each other.

.

Like water flowing in rivers 💦 and oceans 🌊 and changing into vapor 💨 and snow ⛄️❄️and ice 🧊.

The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.

.

Every part is FLOWING, 🔄 and SPIRALing 🌀 round and round. 💫☄️🪐⛈️🦠🧬

Things unFold 🌱 then enFold 🍂 .

Everything in the UNIverse fits 🧩 because

each part belongs to the ONE whole song 🎻 and dance 💃🏻 🕺🏻
