So interesting! I hadn't heard of it, and before I even finished your article I immediately went and read the piece you linked to in The Atlantic. I'm very interested in the tension between "establishment science" or "the mainstream narrative" and people's lived experiences. And what comes to mind is a book I read recently, "Cunning Folk and Familiar Spirits," that analyzes British witchcraft trial narratives from the 16th and 17th centuries. From that book I began to think that being literate has its own weird impacts on the way we perceive the world. Science only amplifies that. Essentially nowadays the subjective experience is subsumed by the objective experience, cutting out all the magic and mystery, and demanding a sort of obedience. I'll definitely be listening to this!

This is quite interesting and thanks for sharing, Stephanie :) I'd be curious to know what you think of it. and this is very insightful - definitely, the rise in science and literacy and printing and enlightenment thought are all interconnected and related to the de-mystification of the world, which of course leads to so many other dangers. Now though I'm more hopeful that science can possibly start catching up at least to the possibility of many worlds and many living beings!

I’m not sure when science will catch up, as it has its own orthodoxy, and is so left brain, while the mystery enters through the right brain (listen to the Huberman lab podcast with Dr Allan Schore for a conversation that provides a foundation for that assessment). But human beings are definitely telling their own unique stories! Looking forward to listening to this.

I don't need much convincing on this topic, as I feel the materialist paradigm is in its death throes. I got a bit bogged down by repetition after the first couple episodes of TTT--but this post is inspiring me to plunge ahead. Sounds like it gains momentum as it goes along. Also, for anyone whose appetite has been whetted by The Telepathy Tapes and you feel like plunging further down the rabbit hole of interspecies (and interstellar) communication, check out the work of the late Timothy Wyllie. Dolores Cannon, as well.

I'd recommend listening through to the end since I also found it repetitive at the start, but it starts getting really intense around ep. 6! Would love to hear what you think of the end. I'd love to check out more on the animal communication end as well - thank you for the recommendations!

You're right, Episode 6 is great. I love that this signal is being boosted so widely right now. Really feels like a paradigm shift is afoot.

I’m glad you are writing about this. I grew up with these concepts and parts of experience. So I’m really not interested in having it proven - but understand those who do. Rather, I just accept it is part of the human condition and the collective consciousness of everything. I don’t pretend to understand it, who have an explanation for it - but neither do I have one for my reflex to keep breathing. I just breathe. What is more interesting to me is what becomes from accepting it. Could we still fight wars, deceive for personal gain and destroy nature once we accepted everything can communicate telepathically? What a different world that would be…

so tired of science approving what so many of us innately know

And THAT is why we need the feminine to come forward and take its rightful place - so we can ALL get in touch with and trust our intuition again.

I listened to the whole thing but haven't been able to locate the bonus episode. (Maybe you could send me the link? ileanliminal@substack.com)

I write on Substack about communication with plants and ancestors (see link, above). It all starts by shutting down the mind and opening the heart, through which entire new worlds can be unlocked. So I have no doubt that telepathy is possible and is happening.

I'm so happy to know that those who our culture has relegated to the lowest rungs of humanity are actually brilliant and gifted. In this time of turmoil it makes perfect sense. I love it. We have so much to learn from them!

So cool - I find communication with plants and animals so utterly fascinating! I really believe that there's so much more-than-human communication happening all around us, even though I'm honestly just starting my journey of engaging it with myself-just checked out your work and it looks extraordinary, I'm excited to follow along.

Here is the episode I mentioned - it's actually part of a series called the talk tracks: https://open.spotify.com/episode/3L28xJYFGLua5dBUgEDoHx?si=2258c9720ed54a1a

I’ve listened to the first 3 episodes and it’s incredible. I love it. I’m autistic (tho quite verbal) and I feel so connected to those kids.

Thanks for writing this piece - I have long spoken to clients around this very topic. Why do we as Humans continue to think our ways - in thinking doing language etc etc - are the ONLY way. Specifically talking about autism and their gifts - it is for our learning that we listen to what is being revealed through them. Non verbal is never non communicative. There are so many ways this is revealed to us through many 'illnesses' we decide that there are things wrong - whereas it is also revealing to us new ways. This is of course second to the fact that all of us - are capable of telepathic communication anyway - it is our highest form and we all use it whether we realise it or not.

Thank you for writing about what you do! This is the first piece of yours I have seen and it's so important to get awareness out there on things that are not modernly discussed or understood! I'd be happy to share my two times of experiencing actual telepathy myself with you, if you're interested!
